Business Law
Utilizing a combination of Criminal Justice and Business courses, this interdisciplinary minor is oriented toward the legal regulation of business. Students learn about the laws that dictate how to form and run a business. The minor introduces students to the legal requirements around forming, operating, dissolving, and engaging with a business. The Business Law minor also includes state and federal laws, as well as administrative regulations.

CASAC
The CASAC minor in alcohol and substance abuse counseling is a great way to enhance many majors, especially for students interested in working in the Human Service field. Substance abuse counseling education offers students the opportunity to gain knowledge about substance abuse, addiction, and treatment. The Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) is an important professional in the addiction field. A minor in addiction can be a great complement if students are planning to study social work, criminal justice, or psychology. With the CASAC minor, students will be qualified to begin paid work experience required by New York State for full credentialing as a CASAC.

Civic Studies
The minor in Civic Studies allows students to explore their role and responsibilities in civic life and governance.
