CASAC - Substance Abuse Counseling
Given the current societal trends which focus on the increasing demand for substance abuse counselors, you will gain the skills needed to help people with addictions to alcohol and other drugs. The Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) 30-credit program provides you with a solid foundation that can lead to career advancement in the human services and health care fields. Learn to assess level and type of addiction, identify associated life issues, and set up treatment plans. You’ll be equipped with strategies for early intervention, prevention, and treatment. Certain courses may satisfy requirements in some other undergraduate programming. Satisfactory completion of the program will provide you with the opportunity to receive your CASAC-T certificate from the NYS Office of Alcoholism & Substance Abuse Services (OASAS).

Paralegal Studies

Monroe’s TEAS Preparatory class is to assist individuals studying to pass the TEAS exam so that they can pursue admission to the School of Nursing at Monroe University.
