The Curriculum
The master’s in accounting degree curriculum is a challenging mix of classes in taxation, analysis, and advanced auditing, plus classes in ethics, leadership, and management. You’ll graduate ready to leverage your master's in accounting as a public accountant, corporate accountant, in private industry, and nonprofit organizations.
International Accounting
International accounting is a rapidly expanding field and its importance has grown in conjunction with globalization. A master's degree in accounting can position you to tackle global challenges in the twenty-first century – challenges that require you to be knowledgeable in international financial reporting, harmonization, standardization, and consolidation of financial statements of multinational corporations.
Foundation Courses
You may be required to take an additional foundation course if this was not taken during your undergraduate studies in accounting. This foundation class is offered either online or on campus during the weekend. Your admissions counselor will advise you as to whether this class is necessary. There is a separate tuition for the foundation course.
Foundations of Statistics
This foundation workshop covers concepts in Descriptive Statistics, Inferential Statistics, Probability, and OLS estimates (trend line with intercept and slop). The objective of the workshop is to strengthen skills in abstract thinking, critical analysis, and forecasting.

- The National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) - For students who want to enhance opportunities for themselves in the accounting and finance industries. Our NABA Chapter proudly enters the Deloitte Case Competition each year … and won first place in 2017 and 2018!
