How Long Does It Take to Get a Business Administration Associate Degree Online?
Online students can earn their AAS in Business Administration in just four (4) semesters — less than a year and a half when completed full-time on Monroe’s three (3)-semester academic calendar..
AAS Business Administration Requirements:
60 total credits
18 credits of major-related courses
12 credits of major-area component courses
30 credits of general education and related courses
The School of Business and Accountingalso offers on-campus and hybrid programs for students who want to take advantage of in-person classes.
Online classes are still unfamiliar to a lot of people. They might be to you, too. That’s why we give our students the chance to try online learning before committing to a full course load.
The online module allows you to take just two (2) classes over a 7½-week period (just half as long as a standard 15-week semester). You can then apply the credits you’ve earned to the rest of your degree — even if you choose to continue your studies on campus instead of online.
In this exciting capstone course, Business Administration majors put their skills into practice as they master business communication skills, résumé and cover letter preparation, job search and networking skills, and develop proficiency in the full suite of Microsoft Office applications. By the end of the course, students will have created a career portfolio with samples of their work to be used as a visual representation of students' abilities, skills, knowledge, and professionalism.
Applicants to the Business Administration Associate Degree online must submit:
Either a high school graduation credential or high school equivalency diploma, or a recognized college associate degree or higher as listed in the transfer admissions policy.
A completed application for admission, as well as a personal statement or essay.
Applicants also participate in a pre-admission interview.
