Katreece Campbell
“I was able to gain leadership experience because of the more personal environment in the classroom.”
Katreece Campbell works as an accounts payable clerk at Structure Tech, a commercial construction company in NY. She received a bachelor’s degree in accounting, graduating summa cum laude in 2019. While at Monroe, Katreece enjoyed staying active on campus and was a member of the CEO and Honors Clubs as well as the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA). This Jamaica native said she “found a home away from home at Monroe,” with lots of support to get her through to graduation.
“Advisors are there to help with course selection and professors are understanding and motivating. Everyone contributed to me finishing college,” she says. “Smaller class sizes provided me with more individual attention, and I was able to gain leadership experience because of the more personal environment in the classroom. I felt like I belonged.”
