My favorite part of Monroe is its tight-knit community, which reminds me of growing up in St. Lucia.

I wasn’t just recruited to Monroe, they took it a step further and embraced me.

An incident when he was younger left Jean determined to improve the relationship between the government, police, and  community.

Chevelle credits her professors for inspiring her career in law. She loved hearing their personal stories of working in the field 

Because of the life lessons learned at Monroe, I am now able to give back to the community and continue my fight for social justice.

I liked that I could study criminal justice at Monroe and have so many possibilities for internships.
